I was going to switch carriers at that point but if I want to keep my number I'll have at least a day without service while the number ports which is problematic. But now ATT won't let me pay my bill, I've tried the website and over the phone, then I went to an ATT store where I was told I could pay with prepaid cards. The bank said that att proved the charge was valid - why would I pay my phone bill twice for the same month? - so I paid double that month. So I paid for that month again to turn my phone back on and then I asked the bank to stop the previous charge. I couldn't get thru to anyone on the phone to dispute it with att. The payment for the old plan? Apparently didn't exist anymore. Then I tried to make a call and had no service because I hadn't paid for a month of the new plan. So I back out of the webpage without completing the transaction. ![]() ![]() I wanted to upgrade to a plan with more data but when I got to the payment page I realized I was going to be charged the full price for a month of the new plan when the payment for the old plan had been charged for the old plan the day previous. I asked my bank to stop a payment to att when they charged me twice for one month of service.
